Meaning
Om - the primordial sound
Narayanaya - to Narayana, the one who dwells in all beings
Vidmahe - may we know
Vasudevaya - to Vasudeva, the all-pervading divine
Dhimahi - we meditate
Tanno - may that
Vishnuh - Vishnu, the all-pervading
Prachodayat - inspire and enlighten
May we know Narayana. We meditate upon Vasudeva. May that Vishnu inspire and enlighten our intellect.
