📜 History & Origin
The temple is of ancient origin. The legend of Alha-Udal (12th century warriors) is deeply connected with this temple — Alha is believed to have received immortality from the goddess. Ustad Allauddin Khan established the Maihar Band and trained musicians here in the 20th century. The ropeway was established to make the climb easier.
