Har Mandir Patna Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji the tenth Sikh Guru, one of the five Takhts (seats of temporal authority) of Sikhism.
📜 History & Origin
Guru Gobind Singh was born here on 22 December 1666 to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Mata Gujri Ji. The original structure was built in the 17th century. Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab built the current marble Gurdwara in the 19th century. It has been managed by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee since 1921.

Large white marble Gurdwara with a prominent dome and golden finial. The sanctum houses relics of Guru Gobind Singh. The complex has a large darbar hall, langar (community kitchen), sarovar (sacred tank) and museum. The riverfront location on the Ganga adds to its spiritual atmosphere.
