A famous Hanuman temple in Rajasthan where the deity is depicted with a beard and moustache, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in North India.
📜 History & Origin
In 1754, a farmer in Asota village found a Hanuman idol while ploughing his field. The idol was sent to Mohan Das ji, a devotee of Hanuman in Salasar. The idol was installed with great ceremony. Mohan Das ji and his aunt Kanha Bai are believed to have had divine visions of Hanuman. The temple has grown massively since then.

White marble temple with a large courtyard. The main idol is unique — Hanuman with a full beard and moustache, wearing a crown. The temple complex has a large dharamshala, prasad counters, and gardens. A massive golden flagstaff stands at the entrance.
🆣 Puja & Rituals
Daily aartis at 5 AM, noon, sunset and 9 PM. Tuesday and Saturday special pujas are extremely popular. Coconut offerings are the most common. Ladoo prasad distributed to all devotees.
