📜 History & Origin
Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada founded ISKCON in New York in 1966. He returned to Vrindavan to establish this temple as the movement s Indian headquarters. Inaugurated on Rama Navami 1975. Prabhupada s Samadhi (memorial) is a grand marble structure in the temple complex built after his passing in 1977.
🏛 Architecture & Structure
White marble temple in traditional Rajput style. Three shrines: Krishna-Balaram (main), Radha-Shyamasundar, and Gaur-Nitai (Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda). Prabhupada s Samadhi is a magnificent marble structure. Guest facilities, restaurant (prasadam hall), and guesthouse within the complex.
